It's Sunday, Michael is taking his vacation time, and everything is perfect...perfectly messy that is LOL.

I picked onions from the garden this morning, made a nice lunch of chicken smothered in onions and cream of mushroom (yum!), we had a water balloon fight outside. Michael put up the tent so him and the boys can camp out tonight with hot dogs and smores...

What will I be doing inside by myself??? Well I have to make a tote bag for a swap I am in. A BIG tote bag because my partner has 3 girls and needs lots of room and pockets! I also need to finish up my Four Seasons Summer quilt once and for all!

I need to clean up my sewing area AGAIN! I also need to list eBay stuff and get the stuff that sold today ready to ship....

I'll take pics of everything and put them up tomorrow!!!

4th of July at the Water Park!

Yesterday we made the 40 minute trip to the water park. I drove.

What Happened!?!

WELL-let me tell you!

After washing the lunch dishes while cooking Hamburger Helper for dinner (for just me and the kids) this is how dinner went- Dusty "No meatballs please" "More please" Caleb "More, more, more".

Dusty "Those peas are disgusting! They do NOT taste like candy mom!" Now both boys "More! More mom!"

Me- "Boys, please let me feed your sister, I keep stopping to get you guys more and she is starving over here. Dusty Popeye eats peas, don't you want to grow big and strong?"

Boys- "More mom! I need more kool-aid. More mom, no noodles... I spilled my kool-aid. I gotta go potty" My two boys ate the whole pan of hamburger helper, Hazel had just a small kiddy bowl, and I got stuck with the meatballs and peas.

Then-wash up the kids, wash MORE dishes, laundry laundry laundry...

Hazel has a fever of 101. I had to dig the thermometer out of the air conditioner (don't ask).

I could go on but I won't LOL. They should send those teens over from "The Baby Borrowers" to my house!

Bye Bye Scrapbook Paper

We slept in late today, until about 10am. This pic below is of me saying "Good morning Hazel!" Hazel and I decided that it is a fresh new day and we should get rid of some of this clutter. Mini Quilt Done and Crazy Patch

I am in a contest to FINISH 5 quilt UFOs by July. This one I made start to finish for my Four Seasons partner. My sewing machine was having issues and the machine quilting is uneven and has a PUCKER (oh no!) so I will be starting all over. I hurried and did the binding by machine so I don't have another UFO. I guess I will have to find a place to put it around here.

This is my very 1st ever crazy quilt block. I know, I know, not very crazy but everyone has to start somewhere. I hand stitched a bug on the large green part but it just does not stand out. You quilt and learn! My next block will be better!

Listing Spree: Plus Size Scrub Tops & Swim Suits

My Mom cleaned out her closet and came up with a ton of stuff for me to list (she lives right next door). Luckily Mike is off today so I made a nice dent in the clothes pile. SWIMSUITS and SCRUB TOPS so far!

This one is a 2X and is NEW!

This one is size 24W and is in good condition.

This scrub top is a 2x and reminds me of a quilter's batik. I was tempted to cut it up into squares and turn it into a sewing project!
